Hi, I’m Helen – and I’m the Minister here at Christ Church, but I look after Pagham United Reformed Church as well.

I first came to Chichester in the summer of 2020, just as the first Covid pandemic lock-down was easing. It was a difficult time of getting to know people and finding my way around this beautiful city and surrounding area, but it soon felt like ‘home’ and both myself and my husband, Colin, felt very welcomed. As Christ Church is what is known as an L.E.P. (Local Ecumenical Partnership between the Methodist and United Reformed Church) they alternate their ministry between the two. 

I have been a U.R.C. Minister since 2007 and it was wonderful to be appointed here and be able to serve alongside members of both denominations, who consider Christ Church to be their ‘spiritual home’. 

We welcome all those, who would like to get to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and want to follow his ways, and will encourage you in your journey of faith through the many opportunities there are to learn and serve - both here and in the community.

So, if you are new to the area, or have lived here for some time – if you are nervous about coming through our doors and would like to chat about what we offer or feel that Christ Church is the place for you and want to dive straight in – you will find a welcome here.
